How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Unplug dishwasher from electrical power.
- Press each button on control panel firmly 5 times to dislodge debris.
- Remove control console assembly: release clips or remove screws, disconnect ribbon cable.
- Inspect ribbon cable and connectors for moisture, corrosion, or physical damage. Clean contacts with isopropyl alcohol.
- Test button matrix continuity using multimeter per service manual pinout.
- If short circuit persists after cleaning: replace control panel assembly using OEM part DD92-00002A.
- Transfer all connectors to new panel. Secure mounting hardware.
- Reconnect ribbon cable firmly until seated completely.
- Reinstall console assembly. Restore power.
- Verify all buttons respond correctly during operation and error code does not reappear.
