How to Fix Dishwasher Error

  1. Unplug dishwasher and turn off water supply valve.
  2. Remove lower access panel to expose inlet valve assembly.
  3. Disconnect water supply hose from valve inlet (place towel underneath).
  4. Disconnect electrical wiring harness from valve solenoid.
  5. Test solenoid coil resistance with multimeter: proper reading 500-1500Ω. Infinite = open; zero = shorted.
  6. Remove mounting screws securing valve assembly to chassis.
  7. Extract old inlet valve assembly. Clean mounting area of mineral deposits.
  8. Install new inlet valve assembly using OEM part DD61-00001A. Secure mounting screws.
  9. Reconnect water supply hose hand-tight plus 1/4 turn. Reconnect wiring harness.
  10. Restore water and power. Start cycle and verify dishwasher fills within 60 seconds with strong flow.
