How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Immediately unplug dishwasher and turn off water supply valve.
- Remove standing water from bottom pan using wet/dry vacuum or towels.
- Tilt dishwasher forward carefully (with assistance) to access base. Locate moisture sensor pad under tub.
- Dry sensor pad thoroughly with lint-free cloth. Allow 60 minutes air drying time.
- Inspect all hoses, pump housing, tub seams, and door gasket for leaks. Pay close attention to spray arm seals and detergent dispenser gasket.
- Tighten any loose hose clamps using pliers. Replace cracked hoses or damaged gaskets.
- If sensor remains triggered after drying and leak repair, replace moisture sensor using OEM part DD31-00005A.
- Reassemble panels. Restore water and power. Run short cycle with panels off to visually confirm no leaks before final reassembly.
