How to Fix Samsung Dishwasher Error 1C

⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.

Error Code: 1C Difficulty: Moderate

Problem: Filter clogged / Load or detergent issue

How to Fix 1C Error

  1. CLEAN THE FILTERS. This code often indicates a clogged filter. Open the dishwasher and remove the lower rack. Twist and lift out the main filter assembly from the bottom of the tub.
  2. WASH THE FILTERS. Separate the cylindrical micro-filter from the coarse filter plate. Wash both thoroughly under warm running water using a soft brush to remove food particles and grease.
  3. REINSTALL AND TEST. Reassemble the filter components and lock them back into place in the dishwasher. Run a new cycle. If the code returns, use less detergent and ensure dishes are not blocking the spray arms.

Still Not Working?

If the replacement part didn’t fix the issue, you may have a wiring problem or main board failure.
