How to Fix F01 Error

  1. UNPLUG THE DRYER. This is a fatal error indicating the main control board has failed.
  2. Try a hard reset by leaving the unit unplugged for 10 minutes to discharge capacitors. If the error persists after plugging it back in, the board is confirmed bad.
  3. The main control board must be replaced. Locate the board (usually in the top console). Take a photo of the wiring connections for reference.
  4. Carefully label each wire connector with tape and a number. Disconnect all connectors from the old board.
  5. Remove the screws holding the board, swap it with the new one, and meticulously reconnect all wires to their correct spots. Reassemble the dryer.
