How to Fix E50 Error

  1. UNPLUG THE DRYER. This is an EEPROM (memory) error on the main control board.
  2. A hard reset may work, but is unlikely. Leave the dryer unplugged for 10 minutes before plugging it back in.
  3. If the error returns, the main control board has failed and must be replaced.
  4. Follow the procedure for code F01: Locate the board, photograph the wiring, label and disconnect all harnesses, swap the board, and carefully reconnect all wires.
