How to Fix 00d Error

UNPLUG THE DRYER. This is an alias of code 008, indicating a faulty door switch.
Open the dryer door and locate the screws holding the front panel or top panel in place. Remove the panel to gain access to the door switch assembly, located where the door frame meets the cabinet.
Disconnect the wire harness from the switch. Use a multimeter to test for continuity.
The switch should show continuity only when its plunger is pressed in, and no continuity (open) when released. If it shows continuity in both states or never shows continuity, it’s defective.
Remove the old switch (it usually snaps or screws into place), install the new one, and reconnect the wiring. Reassemble and test.
