How to Fix SY CE Error (Step-by-Step)

1. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet for safety and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
2. Pull the refrigerator away from the wall to access the lower rear service panel.
3. Using a screwdriver or nut driver, remove the screws holding the service panel in place and set it aside.
4. Locate the condenser fan motor, which is mounted near the large, black compressor. You will see a fan blade attached to it.
5. Disconnect the wire harness from the motor. Remove the mounting screws that hold the motor and its bracket to the refrigerator’s frame.
6. Install the new condenser fan motor (Part #241511102 or #5304504528), making sure to transfer the fan blade if necessary. Secure it with the mounting screws and reconnect the wire harness.
7. Reinstall the rear service panel, plug the refrigerator in, and slide it back into place. The error should clear once the unit powers on.
8. Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
