How to Fix NO Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. First, ensure that the water supply valves for both hot and cold water are fully open.
  2. Unplug the washer from the power outlet and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
  3. Turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet hoses from the back of the machine. Check the small filter screens inside the water inlet valve ports for any debris or sediment and clean them thoroughly.
  4. If the screens are clean, the water inlet valve itself may be faulty. Use a multimeter to test the solenoids on the valve for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a failed solenoid, and the valve will need to be replaced.
  5. To replace the water inlet valve, remove the top panel of the washer, disconnect the wires and hoses from the old valve, and install the new one in its place.
  6. If the water inlet valve is functioning correctly, the issue may be with the water level pressure switch. Locate the switch and inspect the clear tube connected to it for any blockages or kinks. Clear any obstructions.
  7. If the tube is clear, the pressure switch may be defective and require replacement. Disconnect the wiring and the tube from the old switch and install the new one.
  8. Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
