- Unplug the washer from the power outlet for safety and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Turn off both the hot and cold water supplies to the washer.
- Locate the water level sensor, which is typically a small, round part with a tube and wires connected to it, often found behind the control panel or in the upper part of the washer cabinet.
- Carefully disconnect the wiring harness and the air tube from the old sensor.
- Remove the screws or clips holding the sensor in place and take it out.
- Install the new water level sensor, making sure to securely reattach the air tube and wiring harness.
- Reassemble the washer, turn the water back on, and plug the machine back in to test its operation.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
