How to Fix E85 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the washer from its power source and shut off the water connections.
- Drain the machine completely by lowering the drain hose into a bucket.
- Remove the bottom front service panel to gain access to the pump area.
- Identify the recirculation pump. It will have several hoses and an electrical connection.
- Carefully unclamp the hoses and disconnect the wire harness from the pump (Part 5304514769).
- Unbolt the old pump from its mounting bracket and install the new pump, securing it with the original hardware.
- Reattach the hoses (Part 132510073) and electrical connection, then reassemble the front panel before testing.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
