- Locate the pump filter access panel, usually on the bottom front of the washer.
- Place a shallow tray and a towel underneath the panel to catch any residual water.
- Open the access panel and slowly unscrew the filter cap, allowing the water to drain out.
- Once drained, completely remove the filter and clean it of any debris like lint, coins, or hair.
- Check the pump impeller inside the housing to ensure it can spin freely.
- Screw the filter back in securely, close the access panel, and plug the washer back in.
