Open the washer door and locate the door lock assembly on the frame.
Remove the outer spring clamp that holds the door boot seal in place and peel back the seal to access the lock.
Unscrew the screws holding the door lock assembly and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
Disconnect the wiring from the old lock and remove it.
Connect the wiring to the new door lock assembly and screw it into place.
Re-secure the door boot seal with the spring clamp and plug the washer back in.
Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
