How to Fix E01 Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. Turn off the water supply to the washer and unplug the appliance.
  2. Unscrew the water inlet hoses from the back of the machine.
  3. Locate the water inlet valve assembly where the hoses were connected.
  4. Disconnect the wire harnesses attached to the valve’s solenoids and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
  5. Remove the screws that secure the valve to the washer’s frame and take out the old valve.
  6. Install the new water inlet valve, making sure to secure it with the screws.
  7. Reconnect the wire harnesses and the water hoses, then turn the water and power back on.
  8. Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
