How to Fix CL Error (Step-by-Step)
- Locate the ‘Control Lock’ or ‘Child Lock’ button on the control panel.
- Press and hold the ‘Control Lock’ button for 3 to 5 seconds.
- The control lock light or indicator on the display should turn off.
- The washer controls should now be unlocked and fully functional.
- If the lock persists, try unplugging the washer for 5 minutes and then plugging it back in to reset the control panel.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
- Check for simple blockages (lint screen, drain path, or filter) and clean anything you find.
