How to Fix CF Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the washer from the power outlet to prevent any risk of electrical shock.
- Remove the top panel of the washer by unscrewing the retaining screws located at the back of the machine.
- Identify the main control board, which serves as the washer’s electronic brain, usually found inside a protective plastic case.
- To avoid incorrect wiring, take a detailed picture of all the wire harnesses connected to the board.
- Carefully press the release tabs on each connector and disconnect all wire harnesses from the old board.
- Unscrew the old board and replace it with the new one (Part #A03028305, 5304515626, or 5304529897), ensuring it is securely mounted.
- Reconnect all wires exactly as they were in your photo, re-install the top panel, and restore power to the washer.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
