Problem: Touch sensor on the user interface is not responding.
How to Fix 9E Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the washer from the power source to ensure safety.
- Remove the top panel of the washer by unscrewing the screws at the back.
- Locate the user interface control board, which is typically situated at the front of the washer.
- Carefully disconnect the wire connectors attached to the control board.
- Remove the screws that are holding the control board in place and then remove the old board.
- Install the new user interface control board (part 137007000) and secure it with the screws.
- Reconnect all the wire connectors, reattach the top panel, and plug the washer back in to test the new interface.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
