How to Fix 9E Error (Step-by-Step)

Disconnect the washer from the power source to ensure safety.
Remove the top panel of the washer by unscrewing the screws at the back.
Locate the user interface control board, which is typically situated at the front of the washer.
Carefully disconnect the wire connectors attached to the control board.
Remove the screws that are holding the control board in place and then remove the old board.
Install the new user interface control board (part 137007000) and secure it with the screws.
Reconnect all the wire connectors, reattach the top panel, and plug the washer back in to test the new interface.
Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
