How to Fix LC Error (Step-by-Step)

Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
Locate the main control board, typically found behind a panel on the back of the unit.
Carefully disconnect all the wire harnesses connected to the control board.
Remove the screws that are holding the control board in place and gently take it out.
Install the new control board, ensuring it is securely fastened with the screws.
Reconnect all the wire harnesses to the appropriate terminals on the new board.
Replace the back panel and plug the refrigerator back in to see if the ‘LC’ code is gone.
Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
