How to Fix E41 Error (Step-by-Step)

Unplug the refrigerator from the power source to ensure safety during the repair.
Open the refrigerator door and locate the door switch, which is typically a small plunger-style switch near the top or side of the door frame.
Gently pry the old switch out of its housing using a small flathead screwdriver.
Disconnect the wire harness attached to the back of the switch.
Connect the new door switch (part 240597203) to the wire harness.
Push the new switch firmly into the housing until it snaps into place.
Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
