How to Fix UO Error (Step-by-Step)
- Check the back of the dryer to ensure the vent hose is securely attached to the dryer’s exhaust port.
- Follow the vent hose to the wall and confirm it is also securely attached to the wall duct opening.
- Straighten out any sharp kinks or bends in the flexible vent hose that could be restricting airflow.
- Disconnect the hose from both the dryer and the wall and look through it to check for any lint blockages.
- Clean any accumulated lint from both the dryer’s exhaust port and the wall duct opening before reattaching the hose.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
- Check for simple blockages (lint screen, drain path, or filter) and clean anything you find.
