How to Fix EA3 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the dryer from the power outlet and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Check the circuit breaker or fuse box that supplies power to the dryer. Reset the breaker by turning it off and then on again, or replace the fuse if it has blown.
- Ensure the dryer’s power cord is fully inserted into the wall outlet.
- Plug the dryer back in and attempt to start a cycle.
- If the error persists, use a multimeter to test the voltage at the wall outlet. It should be approximately 120 VAC.
