⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.
Error Code: IH0 Difficulty: Easy
Problem: Indicates a turbidity sensor error. This is an alternative display for the iB0 code. The alarm is triggered if the calibration procedure is not completed within 15 seconds.
How to Fix IH0 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Cancel any running cycle and empty the dishwasher of all dishes.
- Clean the dishwasher filters thoroughly. Remove the lower spray arm and the filter assembly. Wash the filters under warm running water with a soft brush.
- Inspect the sump area at the bottom of the dishwasher (where the filter was) for any debris or suds and clean it out.
- Reinstall the clean filters and the lower spray arm correctly.
- Power cycle the dishwasher by turning it off at the circuit breaker for at least one minute before turning it back on. This can help reset the sensor’s calibration.
- Start a new, empty wash cycle. The dishwasher will attempt to recalibrate the turbidity sensor at the beginning of the cycle. Allowing this cycle to complete without interruption can resolve the error.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
