How to Fix IF01 Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. Turn off the dishwasher at the circuit breaker for 5 minutes to reset the electronics.
  2. Check that the water supply valve, usually located under your sink, is fully open.
  3. Gently pull the dishwasher out a few inches and inspect the water inlet hose for any kinks or twists that could be blocking water flow.
  4. Turn off the water supply valve and place a towel under the inlet hose connection at the dishwasher. Unscrew the hose and check the small filter screen inside for any debris or sediment. Clean it with a small brush if necessary.
  5. Reconnect the hose securely, ensuring it’s not cross-threaded. Turn the water supply back on and check for leaks.
  6. Ensure the dishwasher door is closing and latching properly, as the dishwasher will not fill if the door is not securely shut.
  7. Turn the circuit breaker back on and start a new cycle to see if the issue is resolved.
  8. Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
