Error Code: IB0 Difficulty: Hard

Problem: Turbidity sensor problem.

How to Fix IB0 Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. Turn off the power supply to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker.
  2. Slide the dishwasher out and tilt it to access the sump area at the bottom.
  3. Locate the turbidity sensor, which looks like a small plastic eye, mounted in the sump assembly.
  4. Disconnect the wire harness from the sensor and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
  5. Gently remove the sensor from the sump. It may twist and pull out.
  6. Clean the lens of the sensor with a soft cloth and mild detergent, as food soil can obstruct its reading.
  7. If cleaning does not solve the problem, replace the turbidity sensor with a new part.
  8. Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
