1. Disconnect the dishwasher from power by turning off the circuit breaker or unplugging it from the wall outlet.
2. Remove the outer door panel by unscrewing the screws, typically located on the inside edge of the door.
3. Carefully detach the control panel to gain access to the main control board housing. Note the location of all wire harness connections before disconnecting them.
4. Disconnect all wire harnesses from the old control board. They usually have locking tabs that need to be pressed to release.
5. Remove the screws securing the old control board and carefully lift it out of its housing.
6. Install the new main control board, secure it with the mounting screws, and reconnect all wire harnesses to their corresponding ports.
