How to Fix ER-10 Error (Step-by-Step)

Disconnect the dishwasher from all power by switching off the corresponding circuit breaker.
Open the dishwasher door and remove the screws around the inner door frame to separate the front and inner door panels.
With the panels separated, locate the electronic control board, which is typically mounted to the front panel.
Take a clear picture of the wire connections before proceeding.
Carefully disconnect all wire harnesses from the old control board.
Remove the mounting screws securing the board, and install the new control board in its place.
Reconnect all wires to the new board based on your photo, reassemble the door, and restore power to test.
Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
