Error Code: ER-01 Difficulty: Hard
Problem: A water leak has been detected.
How to Fix ER-01 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Turn the appliance off to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker.
- Remove the lower access panel at the front of the dishwasher by unscrewing the retaining screws.
- Place a towel on the floor and look inside for the leak sensor, which is a small switch with a float, located in the base pan.
- Check the base pan for any standing water that may have triggered the sensor.
- If water is present, find and repair the source of the leak (e.g., loose hose, cracked pump, or bad door seal) before proceeding.
- Disconnect the wire harness from the old leak sensor and remove it from its mounting clip.
- Install the new sensor, reconnect the wiring, and reattach the lower access panel.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
