Problem: The door has been left open or isn’t properly latched.
How to Fix CLOSE Error (Step-by-Step)
- Pull the dishwasher door open to its fully extended position.
- Scan the interior to ensure no dishes, silverware, or parts of the dish racks are sticking out and preventing the door from sealing.
- Slide both the top and bottom racks fully into the dishwasher.
- Check the door’s gasket to make sure it is clean and not twisted or out of place.
- Close the door firmly. You should hear the latch mechanism click into place, securing the door.
- The ‘CLOSE’ indicator should turn off, and you can now select and begin a wash cycle.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
