How to Fix C12 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Shut off all power to the dishwasher from the main circuit breaker to ensure safety.
- To access the internal components, you will need to pull the dishwasher out from its installation spot.
- The tank level sensor is located in the sump area at the bottom of the dishwasher tub.
- Carefully disconnect the wire connector attached to the sensor and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- The sensor is usually removed by twisting it counter-clockwise to release it from its housing.
- Install the new sensor by aligning it and twisting it clockwise, then securely reattach the wire connector.
- Slide the dishwasher back into place, restore power, and run a test cycle.
