Problem: The pressure switch (water level sensor) signal is missing. The washer won’t run because it doesn’t know how much water is in the tub. Check connections or replace the switch.
How to Fix 7 Error
- UNPLUG washer from electrical power.
- Locate pressure switch (typically mounted on cabinet side wall or top rear of tub).
- Disconnect vinyl air hose from pressure switch port. Inspect hose for cracks, kinks, or water accumulation.
- Blow forcefully through hose to clear blockages. Replace hose if damaged.
- Test pressure switch with multimeter in continuity mode: switch must be OPEN when tub is empty. Blow into switch port—the switch should CLOSE with audible click.
- If switch fails to change state, replace using OEM part DC34-00050A: disconnect wiring harness, remove mounting screws, install new switch.
- Reconnect vinyl hose securely to both pressure switch and air dome port on tub.
- Verify air dome port is clear of lint/debris using flashlight and small brush.
- Reassemble panels. Run fill cycle to confirm water stops at correct level.
Still Not Working?
If the replacement part didn’t fix the issue, you may have a wiring problem or main board failure.
