How to Fix EMPTY RESERVOIR Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. Unplug the dryer from the power outlet and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
  2. If your dryer is connected to a drain, ensure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged.
  3. For models with a condensation container, remove and empty it.
  4. Access the condenser area, which may be at the bottom front of the dryer, and remove the condenser unit.
  5. Clean the condenser by rinsing it with water and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
  6. While the condenser is out, inspect the sump area beneath it for any lint buildup and clean it out.
  7. Reassemble all components, plug the dryer back in, and run a test cycle.
