Error Code: E24 Difficulty: Easy
Problem: Dishwasher not draining properly due to a blocked drain filter.
How to Fix E24 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Open the dishwasher door and completely remove the bottom dish rack to get clear access to the floor of the tub.
- Locate the filter system in the bottom center of the dishwasher. It consists of a cylindrical coarse filter and a flat fine mesh screen.
- Twist the cylindrical filter counter-clockwise and lift it straight up to remove it.
- Lift out the flat mesh screen that was underneath the cylindrical filter.
- Thoroughly rinse both filter components under warm, running water. Use a soft brush to gently remove any food debris or buildup.
- Check the sump area where the filters sit for any foreign objects and clean it out.
- Place the fine mesh screen back first, ensuring it lies flat, then insert and twist the cylindrical filter clockwise until it locks firmly into place.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
