How to Fix OFB Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the washer and disconnect the water hoses and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Open the washer lid and remove the washplate cap to access the central bolt.
- Unscrew the bolt and lift the washplate (Part W10780045) out of the tub.
- Underneath the washplate, locate and remove the drive hub kit (Part W10821956).
- Prop the washer up to access the bottom and replace the bearing kit (Part W11130362).
- At the same time, replace all four suspension rods (Part W10780048) located at each corner of the tub.
- Reassemble the washer by following these steps in reverse, then run a test cycle.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
