Error Code: OFB OR OFB Difficulty: Hard
Problem: Off-balance load detected.
How to Fix OFB OR OFB Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the washer from the electrical outlet to ensure your safety.
- Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves connected to the back of the machine.
- To access the suspension, insert a putty knife in the seam between the top and front panels, about 3 inches from each side, to release the locking clips. Hinge the top panel back.
- Locate the four suspension rods at each corner of the washer, connecting the tub to the base frame.
- Replace one rod at a time to prevent the tub from falling. Lift the tub slightly, unhook the old rod from the top and bottom, and remove it.
- Install the new suspension rod by connecting it to the base frame first, then lifting the tub to connect the top. Ensure it is securely seated in both mounts.
- Repeat the process for the other three rods, then lower the top panel and press down firmly to snap the clips back into place.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
