- Place a bucket or pan under the drain pump to catch any residual water.
- Locate the drain pump at the bottom of the washer and disconnect the hoses attached to it.
- Remove the screws holding the drain pump (Part W10876600) in place and remove the old pump.
- Install the new drain pump and reconnect the hoses and mounting screws.
- Reconnect the main drain hose (Part WPW10730972) to the wall, plug in the washer, and run a drain/spin cycle to test.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
