How to Fix LF Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the washer from the power outlet and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Turn off the hot and cold water supplies to the washer.
- Using pliers, carefully disconnect the hot and cold water hoses from the back of the washer.
- Remove the screws securing the top panel of the washer and slide it off.
- Locate the water inlet valve at the back of the washer where the hoses were connected. Disconnect the wire harnesses and the tube from the valve.
- Replace the old water inlet valve with the new one, ensuring all connections are secure.
- Reassemble the washer, turn on the water and power, and run a test cycle.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
