How to Fix F8 E2 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the washer from the power outlet to prevent any electrical shock.
- Turn off both the hot and cold water supply valves connected to the back of the machine.
- Access the dispenser assembly by removing the top panel of the washer, which is typically held by screws at the back.
- Carefully note and disconnect the wire harnesses and water hoses attached to the dispenser unit. It’s a good idea to take a picture for reference.
- Remove the screws or release the clips that secure the dispenser assembly in place and lift it out of the washer.
- Position the new dispenser (part W10865826) and secure it with the original screws or clips.
- Reconnect all hoses and electrical connectors, re-install the top panel, turn on the water supply, and plug the washer in to test its function.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
