How to Fix F7 E7 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the washer from its power source to prevent electrical shock.
- Access the electronic control board by removing the top panel or the console, usually held by screws at the back or sides.
- Take a clear picture of the wire connections on the old board before disconnecting anything.
- Carefully unplug all the wire harnesses from the old control board. Note any locking tabs that need to be released.
- Remove the mounting screws that hold the control board in its housing and lift it out.
- Place the new control board (Part: W11170317 or W10785628) into the housing and secure it with the screws.
- Using your photo as a guide, reconnect all wire harnesses to the correct terminals on the new board, then reassemble the console and plug in the washer.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
