- Allow the washer to complete its automatic process of adding a rinse and a short spin to reduce the suds. Do not interrupt the cycle.
- Wait for the cycle to finish, which may take longer than usual.
- After the cycle is complete, remove the laundry and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Run an empty ‘Clean Washer’ or ‘Normal’ cycle with hot water to flush out any residual detergent.
- In the future, ensure you are using only High-Efficiency (HE) detergent.
- Reduce the amount of detergent used, especially for smaller or lightly soiled loads, to prevent this from happening again.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
