How to Fix F25 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the dryer from the electrical outlet to prevent any electrical shock.
- Pull the dryer away from the wall and remove the screws securing the rear access panel.
- Locate the heater housing, which is a silver metal box, and find the intake thermistor mounted on it.
- Carefully disconnect the two wires attached to the thermistor terminals.
- Remove the screw that holds the thermistor to the heater housing and pull the old thermistor out.
- Place the new intake thermistor into the mounting hole, secure it with the screw, and reconnect the wires.
- Reattach the rear access panel, plug the dryer back in, and test for proper operation.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
