How to Fix F25 Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. Unplug the dryer from the electrical outlet to prevent any electrical shock.
  2. Pull the dryer away from the wall and remove the screws securing the rear access panel.
  3. Locate the heater housing, which is a silver metal box, and find the intake thermistor mounted on it.
  4. Carefully disconnect the two wires attached to the thermistor terminals.
  5. Remove the screw that holds the thermistor to the heater housing and pull the old thermistor out.
  6. Place the new intake thermistor into the mounting hole, secure it with the screw, and reconnect the wires.
  7. Reattach the rear access panel, plug the dryer back in, and test for proper operation.
  8. Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
