How to Fix F20 Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. Unplug the dryer from the electrical outlet to ensure safety.
  2. Access the back of the dryer by removing the rear panel.
  3. Locate the heater relay, which is usually a small, black box with wires connected to it.
  4. Use a multimeter to test the old relay for continuity. If there is no continuity, the relay is faulty.
  5. Disconnect the wires from the old relay and remove it from its mounting bracket.
  6. Install the new heater relay and securely connect the wires.
