  2. Disconnect the water inlet and drain lines, then carefully pull the dishwasher out from its installed position.
  3. Lay the dishwasher on its back on a protective surface, like a piece of cardboard or a blanket, to access the components underneath.
  4. Identify the main wash motor and pump assembly. Disconnect the electrical wiring harnesses connected to it.
