Shut off the power to the dishwasher at your home’s circuit breaker and close the water supply valve.
Disconnect the water inlet and drain lines, then carefully pull the dishwasher out from its installed position.
Lay the dishwasher on its back on a protective surface, like a piece of cardboard or a blanket, to access the components underneath.
Identify the main wash motor and pump assembly. Disconnect the electrical wiring harnesses connected to it.
Release the clamps and detach the hoses from the motor assembly.
Unfasten the motor from its mounts and remove it from the dishwasher.
