How to Fix F4E3 Error (Step-by-Step)

1. Turn off the power to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker and shut off the water supply valve under the sink.
2. Disconnect the drain hose and the water supply line. Have a small bucket and towels ready to catch any remaining water.
3. Remove the screws that mount the dishwasher to the underside of the countertop.
4. Carefully slide the dishwasher out of the cabinet and lay it on its back on a soft towel or blanket.
5. Locate the large circulation pump and motor assembly (Part W10805386 or W11133712). Disconnect the wire harnesses and use pliers to release the clamps on the attached hoses.
6. Unbolt and remove the old pump assembly. Install the new one, making sure to securely tighten all hose clamps and reconnect the electrical plugs.
7. Tip the dishwasher upright, slide it back into place, reconnect water and drain lines, secure it to the countertop, and restore power to test.
8. Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
