⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.
Error Code: F1E1 Difficulty: Hard
Problem: Indicates a control board failure.
How to Fix F1E1 Error (Step-by-Step)
- The control board is usually located behind the front access panel (kickplate) at the bottom of the dishwasher.
- Take a clear photo of the wire connections on the existing board to use as a reference. This is a critical step.
- Carefully disconnect all the wire harnesses from the old control board. They have small clips that need to be pressed to release.
- Remove the screws holding the old board in its housing and take it out.
- Mount the new control board (W11613566 or W10814355), secure it with the screws, and meticulously reconnect all wire harnesses based on your photo.
- Reattach the access panel, restore power at the breaker, and the dishwasher should now function without the error.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
