- Unplug the washer from its power source for safety and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Access the back of the control panel by removing the top panel of the washer.
- Locate the water level pressure switch. It will have a thin, clear tube and a wire harness connected to it.
- Disconnect the wire harness and the tube from the old switch.
- Remove the old switch, which may be held by a clip or screw.
- Install the new water level switch (Part W11165546 or W11220230), reconnect the air tube and wire harness, and reassemble the washer before testing.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
