Error Code: LE Difficulty: Moderate
Problem: Water leak detected.
How to Fix LE Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the washer from the power outlet to ensure safety.
- Turn off both the hot and cold water supply valves connected to the back of the machine.
- Carefully inspect the water inlet hoses for any visible cracks, damage, or loose connections at both the washer and the wall faucets. Tighten any loose connections by hand.
- Check the drain hose to ensure it is securely placed in the standpipe or sink and is not clogged or kinked.
- The ‘LE’ code is often triggered by water in the base pan of the washer. Carefully tilt the machine forward at a 45-degree angle to allow any collected water to drain onto a towel or shallow pan.
- Thoroughly dry the area around and under the washer. Once everything is dry, reconnect the power and water supplies.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
Still Not Working?
If the replacement part didn’t fix the issue, you may have a wiring problem or main board failure.
