⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.
Error Code: CB Difficulty: Moderate
Problem: Water level sensor detects overfill.
How to Fix CB Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the washer from the power outlet for safety and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves leading to the machine.
- Remove the top panel of the washer by taking out the screws at the rear.
- Locate the water level pressure sensor. It is a round component with a thin, clear or black air hose and an electrical connector.
- Inspect the air hose for any kinks, blockages, or signs of water inside. If it’s blocked, disconnect it and blow through it to clear the obstruction.
- If the hose is clear, the sensor is likely faulty. Disconnect the wiring and hose from the old sensor and replace it with the new one (Part #134762010).
- Reassemble the washer, turn the water and power back on, and begin a new cycle to test.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
