Error Code: C6 Difficulty: Moderate
Problem: Pressure switch fault.
How to Fix C6 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the washer from the power outlet and turn off the water supply valves.
- Remove the top panel of the washer, which is typically secured by screws at the back.
- Locate the pressure switch, a small round component with a thin tube and a wire connector, usually mounted to the top or side of the washer’s outer tub.
- Take a photo of the connections, then carefully disconnect the wire harness and the clear air hose from the old switch.
- Remove the old switch (it may be held by a screw or clip) and install the new pressure switch (Part #134762010).
- Securely reconnect the wire harness and the air hose, ensuring the hose is not kinked or blocked.
- Reattach the top panel, restore power and water, and run a test cycle.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
