How to Fix LD Error (Step-by-Step)

1. First, cancel any running cycle and disconnect the dishwasher from power at the circuit breaker.
2. Remove the bottom dish rack and inspect the filter area at the bottom of the tub. Twist to remove the filter and clean it thoroughly under running water, removing any food or debris.
3. Check the drain hose for any visible kinks or clogs. This is the ribbed hose, usually connected to the sink drain or garbage disposal.
4. Place a towel and a shallow pan under the drain pump area to catch water. Carefully lay the dishwasher on its back to access the pump underneath.
5. Disconnect the two hoses and the wire harness from the drain pump. Unmount the old pump.
6. Install the new drain pump (part WPW10348269), ensuring the hose clamps are tight and the wire harness is securely connected.
