- Shut off the power to the dishwasher at your home’s circuit breaker and close the water supply valve.
- Disconnect the water inlet and drain lines, then carefully pull the dishwasher out from its installed position.
- Lay the dishwasher on its back on a protective surface, like a piece of cardboard or a blanket, to access the components underneath.
- Identify the main wash motor and pump assembly. Disconnect the electrical wiring harnesses connected to it.
- Release the clamps and detach the hoses from the motor assembly.
- Unfasten the motor from its mounts and remove it from the dishwasher.
- Install the new motor (part W11085683), ensuring all hoses and electrical connections are securely reattached before reinstalling the dishwasher.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
